PythonCarry333
Welp, i know nobody found much to do with this game but here is an idea because I felt this was always a needed effort in this game to enhance it.1. New textures for the Xenomorph which adds reflectivity to his body (much like those planar reflective surfaces mod). I've always felt the xeno as a whole was a tad flat, i'd like to see reflectivity on his body and head and a little less metallic on his teeth ( but I know this was intentional as per the original film). Some tiny bit of surface bump mapping on his head might be good too. One might have a look at Aliens Fireteam Elite and do a texture comparison and try out what they have done to their xeno. Both are relatively identical anatomy and mechanical details-wise. 2. I'd lilke to not only see those floors be reflective (as per the existing mod) but I'd like to see everything from the walls to furniture and computer screens to the internal shafts to have some kind of reflective surface. There is quite abit of metal everywhere so its likely that they all need some kind of metallic or plastic reflection. I'm not too sure if this would be taxing on a videocard's resources. I'm absolutely surprised nobody realized the walls don't have much reflectivity of any light source and the attention was paid to only the floors! Example this area looks like it has no surface reflectivity whatso ever.https://youtu.be/lOedyccpBuw?t=44 Just a thought. So far this game is still visually stunning. EnigManic
+1 I still play the game and love it, minus the bugs. I applaud your idea. Anything that improves or updates the visuals would be appreciated. In a similar vein, I could use help with something. I'd like to mod the decals if possible so that blood stains and explosion burns on the floors and other surfaces will persist for a while longer. There must be a setting for it somewhere within the game files, I just haven't been able to find it yet.
