What to do if a specific mod is preventing SKSE loader from launching Skyrim

I have a specific mod that I know is preventing Skyrim from launching. I'm not even getting a Skyrim program window on my taskbar. Simply nothing happens when I try to run Skyrim from Vortex. There's no Papyrus log from the attempts either.

My question is where should I start with troubleshooting this? Is there a specific log that might give a clue as to why Skyrim won't load?

The mod I'm trying to get to work is Sexlabs framework for Skyrim VR. The specific mods are: SexLabFrameworkSE_v163, SL VRpatch Beta8 38, SL VRpatch hotfix for v38, and SexLab Tools v3. Here's a screenshot of my load order:

I do not use VR, but there should be a log for SKSE in the documents/My Games/Skyrim (SE or maybe VR for you?). It is labeled SKSE64 (again, may be different for VR). That, or one of the other logs, might tell you what is not starting.
