BigBizkit
It seems your expected speed for the Premium CDN is decent (compared to your average), but the speeds you're getting from all our other serves are abnormally slow across the board, suggesting that the issue may be your ISP. Have you spoken to them about the issue?
FL3A
It seems your expected speed for the Premium CDN is decent (compared to your average), but the speeds you're getting from all our other serves are abnormally slow across the board, suggesting that the issue may be your ISP. Have you spoken to them about the issue?I have spoken to my ISP and according to them there shouldn't be any issue from their side. Have also just attempted with a different ISP and am getting the same issues.
BigBizkit
To confirm what your ISP said to you, you could try a VPN connection and see if that helps. Your connection to all our servers across the globe seems to be poor, with the exception of our Premium server network. I'm not saying to you "buy Premium, it'll fix your problem" but, effectively, that would allow you to download from our Premium CDN and your speeds when connected to it are much better. asleepatcourt
I'm like 99% sure this is an issue with some South African connections right now. I'm on Vox (another South African ISP) and experiencing the same issue. Tested with a VPN and no improvement. Since smaller files are served via CloudFlare, their speeds are fine because CloudFlare has local servers here. It looks like the premium CDN uses a service which also has local servers, which is why the speeds are fine with that as well. So yeah, I don't really think this is a Nexus issue. Seems more like a local problem with international connections. Edit: I don't know why our ISPs aren't catching this. They're usually pretty good about it, especially Afrihost who update their status page regularly. I've seen other complaints about latency and buffering, etc. on a local forum, so it's not like it's just the two of us. Edit 2: Lol. Just experienced a jump in speed to ~1MB/s, so it actually seems to be intermittent. Still odd, though, that ISPs haven't commented on it.
