computer ram question!!

hello,

 

i was wondering if this ram would fit in an Abit AN8 32X motherboard?

or if DDR3 Ram

would be better to go with.. but as my computer was given to me i have to manual for my motherboard so i dont know what it is capable of.. so if someone would be so kind and help me!

Well first of all you need to find out what type of memory your motherboard takes, the two you posted are DDR2 and DDR3.

All you really need to do is find that out, i am not sure myself how to, but there should be a way. Try google.

ok i'll try google, but i wanted to know if my motherboard could only take DDR2 ram and if the DDR2 ram poster above ^ was good, or if it could take DDR3 and if the above ^ ram was good for DDR3
