TheKingArthur Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 I seem to remember having a mod in the past that altered the FOV in dialogs so the camera wouldn't zoom in so close. However I can't seem to find it on my computer or on any of the mod sites. Does anyone know what this mod is? It may be included in another mod which could be the reason I can't seem to find it. Streamline seems to have an option to alter this setting in the .ini file but when I change it it has no effect. I am also pretty sure I wasn't using Streamline to set this in the past. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Tchos Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 I used a mod called Talk With Your Hands, which gave the NPCs the same gestures when talking to you, that they have when they talk with other NPCs. The mod itself didn't change the camera FOV, but the readme told which number to change in the .ini file to keep the camera at a distance far enough so you can see their gestures.

A solution to your problem can be found on Tweakguides.com, in the guide for Oblivion. There are many useful tips there, beside this you're particularly interested in. Excerpt:[interface Variables] fDlgFocus=2.1000 - This setting determines the level of camera zoom on people's faces when you enter into conversation with them. A value of 4.0000 is equivalent to no zoom at all, while something like 3.0000 gives a mild zoom which I feel is better than the extreme level of zoom provided by the current setting
