Serithi
To be fair, some of the Nords have the general american accent as well (Farkas, etc.), not all of them are slavic. But i agree that doing a friggin british accent for a Nord is way wrong. If you're gonna put any kind of voice in without making sure it actually fits the game, that just goes to show a distinct lack of attention to detail on your part, and people who actually know what voices fit are going to steer clear. If you can't take the effort to use a fitting voice, i'm not gonna take the effort to download the mod, simple as that.

You're right cuz it's the lack of research into culture. At the same time I guess it would be every modders world that they've created right? Well, for one on a light note in real life that there's actually black people in England who have the British accent. I also noticed how the Redguards attitudes are designed, they act more like stick figures not knowing where heck they're at. It's like: "Hey buddy! I need your help buddy!" "Don't tred on me buddy!." Fistandilius
I still think your mindset is way too stringent. The national language in America is english, but there are a variety of accents depending on what part of the country you're from as well as dialects, not to mention the fact that other english speaking countries don't sound like American's. Then there's the fact that hispanic languages (I hesitate to just say spanish because there are many different variations I guess) are being pushed on us more and more. Skyrim is currently a mixing pot of various races relocating because of morrowind and the thalmor attack on cyrodiil.
Hallgarth
The only British accent you can get away with in Skyrim is the Bristol accent, and that's only because half the male guards sound like they're from Bristol.

You mean Daggerfall/High Rock? They are called Bretons.

Bristol is a real place in England. Look up Steve Merchant, one guard voice-type has a similar accent to him.
bben46
Mod makers don't always have access to what you may consider the proper voices. (And then again what you consider proper may not be what the mod maker had in mind at all) They use what they can get as voice actors for mods are unpaid volunteers. Often they use their own voice or that of a friend. The other option is no voice acting at all. Putting in voices is not easy and many mods leave it out either because they cannot find suitable voices or because it is so difficult.
