Skree000 Posted May 25, 2009 Share Posted May 25, 2009 the 'null' errors are to be expected and can be ignored, i get those all the time. The lack of mip maps... when you save your dds texture in photoshop, theres usually a checkbox that says Generate Mip-Maps. This is usually always enabled, so maybe you accidentally disabled it. Resave the dds textures in photoshop and make sure they have mipmaps enabled in the export window. Mip maps are LOD (level of detail) verions of your texture generated in advance so that the computer can swap those in on the fly when rendering the texture from varying distances. Mipmaps help the computer save effort in calculating texture simplification and are importantIm guessing Fallout3 is setup to require them and ignore any tex's that dont have them.
