As the title may be confusing, I'll explain. Recently, I've encountered a problem where my character or any other npc with weapons drawn will become stiff and float when moving forward. For example, if I have my fists out, instead of my characters legs moving or any other animations, my character becomes stiff and just floats forward. I've uninstalled any texture and character mods that may have caused this, and have even re-installed Skyrim, but the problem persists. Is there any way to fix this?

If you don't mind go so far as to reinstall Skyrim then you should remember to delete all traces of it in (my documents > my games > skyrim) and (steam > steamapps > common > skyrim) before reinstalling to make sure all the files are fresh. You could also try verifying your game cache via steam (btw you may prefer to do this first as it is much faster than fully reinstalling Skyrim). What you're describing sounds similar to what happened to me once, what happened was I had installed a mod that changed some animations, then later deleted that mod, the animations were then gone entirely so if that is the case for you, what i described above should work.

I did try to re-install, but I didn't fully delete the previous files. I'll definitely try that out and see if it works. I'm still new to modding, so I didn't expect something like this to happen.
