ECE and loading a .slot file

Hello, I feel really dumb, spending two hours trying to figure this out how to load this .slot file I download from this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35267/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2F .

 

I'm trying to use the Breton .slot file. I at first was trying to put it into my saves thinking it was just some save file that would somehow just give me the character at a certain point in the game, but I really can't figure out what to do with this file. I've been looking at other forum posts and they have increased my confusion, mentioning things like the creation kit and racemenu plugins. Should I be making a plugin or something, or should I even use the Race Menu mod since I saw on another forum that ECE and Race Menu aren't necessarily compatible with each other. Should I just be using ECE? I really just wanted my character to look like the Breton in the mod's pictures, I didn't think it would be this confusing and this frustrating for me.

 

I'm sorry for how dumb I sound, but if anyone could help I'd really appreciate it because i'm just lost now.

Uhm.. I'm having the same trouble...

But From what I could pick up, You have to put The .slot files in The CME_save File located near the area in the area you find the Save file..

My trouble is getting The CME_File....

But once you get it, Apparently you can do something in the menu were u create the character to get the preset

i use a character preset (slot load) but sometimes wen i load the game or enter a area is like i din't loaded the slot like it get "unloaded" if someone can help me i will be much much gratefull

 

i use ECE btw
