Gandalf100000
I have played Dawnguard DLC main storyline quest on vampire side, but when I finished quest with redwater spring (I cannot recall its name), no quest started - I tried speaking with lord Harkon, but he was acting like if new quest already started ("What are you waiting for? Go and find Moon Moth priest" and similar lines). I tried everything, including "setstage" command. Then, I loaded savegame before joining vampires and went along with Dawnguard quest on vampire hunters' side. When I completed quest in which I had to recruit two new members of Dawnguard and came to Isran, the problem seemed to occur once again - no new quest started and I didn't get any new dialogue options. I reinstalled Dawnguard and installed Unofficial Patches for both Skyrim and the DLC, but nothing changed. Please, help me, I'm really clueless at the moment :/ Edited December 8, 2013 by Gandalf100000
Gandalf100000
I have also tried using Startquest console command, but nothing happened
eddy4life
Woa! It looks like you have a HUGE problem! When I played Dawnguard (I passed it twice, on both sides) that never happened to me! Have you tried to use the "enable and disable" commands? If you haven't, do this: Go to the quest trigger (the npc who gives you the quest) and open the console. Select the NPC and type Disable, and then Enable. Close the console, and talk to the NPC again. If it still doesn't work, try to punch him/her, run away if he/she attacks you (DON'T KILL HIM/HER!) and come back by 24 hours. If it STILL doesn't work, then I don't know what is the problem. eddy4life
Oh, other thing you could do is visit http://uesp.net and search the quest on the search bar. Then, in the quest page, scroll down until the section that says "known Bugs", and verify if that problem is listed there. Under the bug, must be the solution, but if its not there, then there are no known solution yet.
Gandalf100000
Tried everything you suggested, but with no results. I also used "startquest" command on other Dawnguard quests, but the effect was the same
eddy4life
Well, the last thing I can tell you is, download the Dawnguard Unofficial Patch, or wait for an Expert Programmer to help you out ;)
