l1nkown
If your like me and have over 100 armors and 700 spells, you would know how hard it is to be organized. And I don't believe there is any inventory organization mod. (correct me if i'm wrong)So here is my list of mods that I think people should make for a better inventory: 1. A search bar where you type in a word and it will find whatever matches that word in your inventory.2. More categories, like instead of a section just for armor, why not create sub sections for shoes, tops, bottoms, hats etc.3. A section for saved outfits and sets of clothing and armor, so you don't have to find all the pieces yourself every time.4. Make pages in your inventory. Since I have 700 spells (many mod spells) it gets laggy while I'm scrolling through all 700 spells. If it were separated into pages, there would be no lag.5. The ability to toggle your characters action IN the inventory. You know how your character is always in ready position, crouched a little lower? What if it were possible to toggle between running, standing, swimming etc. instead of the more less appealing combat stance. This will allow you to see how your character looks like in that outfit performing these actions. And you don't have to type in tfc in the command console to see what the front of your character looks like in certain actions. I know most of these seem or are impossible to do. But i'm just throwin out some good ideas. If any do actually exist, please do tell.
dsaboteur
yes very good, would be helpful for me, even though it would probably requires some damn coding! That search things sounds dead Windows 7.
MarkJDK
well, the search thing is great but i don't think there is any way to create a textbox in the game menu.it would be possible though using messageboxes. coding is not the problem, the problem is ultrapassing the limit of the engine. edit: correcting..well sorry for saying that coding is not a problem, but yes it is.i'm not into doin' mods, so i don't train scrippting them, even know how the oblivion script works.as a programmer i think i got everything i need in the tools i use, that became sucks when you you can't use APIs or anything else to do what you want. If we can just mod the engine... this would be awesome! And yes it is impossible, no sane company would share their engine for free :P
