firzulian
Hi guys, I recently accidentally uninstalled Fallout 3 on Control Panel during me trying to clear up some space on my drive. My FO3 folder is located in my Local Disk D:. I tried to restore it to the time before I uninstalled FO3 using system restore but even after that, I still could not find my save files in My Documents or anywhere else at all I checked everywhere. I have so much progress in that save file and I do not want to start over(considering I am a lazy fellow), so please if you could help me, it would be great. ma1025
Do a computer search either of "The Capital Wasteland" or your character's name and see if it locates your files. If not, they were probably uninstalled.
pkleiss
The uninstall program may have deleted your save games as well. If they are not in you Recycle Bin, they may be gone for good. You may be able to recover them if you haven't written too many new files to your HD. Just google "undelete files" and click on some links or YouTube videos to learn how to do this. Otherwise, you're probably SOL.
