MatthewTaylor1981
There are some really cool alternate animations out there, take sinkpoints or DMC for instance, but not much that looks like an imperial would be doing it. DMC would be a great set of animations to run an altmer swordmage type character, and sinkpoints could apply to monks of all ages, but especially khajeet What i think would be cool would be if there were animations for more "1400sesque Generifantasy" combat, like shortsword and shield or a more realistic two handed sword fighting thing, with a late middle ages europian feel. I'd be happy to do grunt work on this, if someone coudl point me in the direction of how to learn. I have studied alot of late middle ages fencing in an annex course for an acting project I was in, i could contribute real-world fencing and blocking ideas.Peace :)
MatthewTaylor1981
For instance, one "Cinematic" kind of pose, not great for functionality, but very good for a cinematic feel for the traditional one handed backswordsman, would be a slow approach with the blade pointed at an angle towards the ground. attacks would be arcing moves, and a block would be employed by a wrist flourish that raises the blade to an upward angle.
