Main menu won't load

Last night I had decided upon downloading a few mods just one to add tactical vests and gopher's advanced recon thermal nightvison to use until I could afford and get to the bionic eyes added in project nevada. Upon installing these mods my main menu didn't load and removing the mods didn't do squat to fix the problem. i'd also edited one or two mods so I uncheked the bottom 5 mods on my load order. The problem was fixed. This is where the real headach comes, i've had every mod i unchecked prior and only 2 of those 5 have I edited slightly which was only changing some stats on weapons so they can keep up with guns from other mods I have. One of the mods adds silncers to 9mm pistols which I enjoy the look of a good bit. now of that group if I load every mod but this one, my main menu loads, however loading only this mod also lets the main menu load. None of these mods edit any thing in the menus beyond having maybe an MCM because they're 3 weapon mods, a project nevada wmx patch, and a mod that makes hacking and unlocking easier because I can't stand those stupid minigames (it is still fair becasue I need the required skill to even try so no i'm not cheating :P). Anyone got any ideas whats going on? I've never encountered this kind of problem before and looking on google just gets me unresolved issues or people not saying how they fixed it. My only remaining idea is that because of the hud elements added by the nightvision mod when I deactivated an then activated the unified hud project it messed up my game causing the main menu to not load.

Have you tried downloading the bug fix for MCM? That sounds like what was happening with me out of the blue one day when I shifted around the load order of my mods. When I hit esc I could see all the options but they were dimmed and I could only select MCM. I added the bug fix and it was an instant cure.
