zanity
A player home mod called 'Alice Shelter' currently has a bug where activating an 'electrical switch' anywhere in the game causes the switch to vanish- and no, it isn't merely invisible and can still be toggled- it has literally gone. Now I've left a bug report with the mod/author- but the mod is from 2017, and even when the mod is deactivated, previously toggled switches in a savegame stay GONE (but untouched switches now work normally again). So my question to you nice people is: is there a way to reset the state of all electricalswitches in the savegame data. To make it clear, these are the bulky switches found on walls, with the green/red state light bulbs. Electricalswitch seems to be their object name. I haven't coded a mod for Fallout3, but am well able to understand/apply any coding principle. Tho I'm hoping there is a tool that can modify the savegame data to reset the state of these objects. As I've said, merely deactivating the mod does NOT correct any object in the game that has already been toggled (and witnessed to vanish). Yes, I know this means I (stupidly) kept pressing several of these switches (and saving afterwards) before tracking down the faulty mod- more fool me. I'm very much hoping someone skilled still kicks around these forums- otherwise I guess I'll have to read up on the FO3 modding scene and see if I can do it from first principles. Anyway thanks in advance for anyone with a suggestion.
