Load Order and Overhaul Compatibility

Hello all. I am just beginning to get into PC Elder Scrolls even after playing them many times over on the Xbox 360, so I'm still pretty new to exactly how mods should work and be put together.

To start, some background info:

I have the latest patch installed, and do not use UOP. I do have official DLC's installed; which ones will be seen in my load order. I use OBSE, OBMM, NMM (sometimes), and Wrye Bash. I'm on Windows 7 Professional. This computer is only a week or so old, but I have done a registry clean and hard drive defrag within the last few days.

I did do "batch loading" I suppose. Sorry. New to modding and such and didn't know any better. I do always read the readme file and do a good amount of research on a mod before installing it or tampering with my game files however. I have seen no major problems as of yet, although I have only been through the tutorial and to a couple of the cities to see the new textures and such.

Anyway, I prefer to play Oblivion and the like as a pure mage, or possibly a spellsword type of character. Naturally, I'd want a magic overhaul sort of mod for such. Will likely go with either Supreme Magicka or Mighty Magick: Reborn, but I don't know which of those to choose. Which do you recommend, and how would I make sure they work correctly with OOO and the other mods I have installed?

Load order right now, straight from OBMM, is as follows:

Oblivion.esm
All Natural Base.esm
OOO-ThiefGuild_Difficult.esp

Cities Alive At Night.esp
All Natural - Real Lights.esp
All Natural.esp
All Natural - SI.esp
OBGE - Liquid Water.esp
Immersive Interiors.esp
RAEVWD Imperial City.esp
RAEVWD Cities.esp
RAEVWD New Seoth.esp
Oscuro's_Oblivion_Overhaul.esp
OOO-Potions.esp (unchecked)

OOO-BirthSigns.esp

OOO-Magic_Effects+Spells.esp (unchecked because not sure if I'd want these over another mod)

OOO-Magic_Effects+Enchantments.esp (unchecked because not sure if I'd want these over another mod)

OOO-Dangerous_Traps.esp

OOO-Armor_Perks_WearRate_Repair.esp

OOO-Magic_Game_Settings.esp

OOO-Combat_Skills_Perks_Marksmanship.esp

OOO-Deadly_Combat.esp

OOO-DLT_Immersion.esp (unchecked; I remember the readme saying something about a torch, but still don't know exactly what this does)

OOO-Level_Slow.esp (unchecked)

Addonays Elven Weaponry.esp

Oblivion Graphics Extender Support.esp (unchecked)

Midas Spells.esp

LTDVampireOverhaul.esp

ScriptEffectSubduer.esp (unchecked)

1AzuSeraphimSet.esp

Ayleid Arcane Archer.esp

RenGuardOverhaul.esp

All Natural - Indoor Weather Filter For Mods.esp (unchecked because it says don't activate)

mythsandlegends.esp (this is actually MaL 2 if that makes a difference)

Gizmodian - Vicious Heart.esp

Gizmodian-VeraxanimaOblivion.esp

The Sixth Element.esp

Anduril Reforged.esp

DLCOrrery.esp

DLCFrostrcrag.esp

DLCShiveringIsles.esp

DLCSpellTomes.esp

DLCThievesDen.esp

DLCVileLair.esp

DLCMehrunesRazor.esp

Knights.esp

Bashed Patch, 0.esp

I also have DarNified UI 1.3.2, Qarl_TP3_Full_v1.3_OMOD, as well as TES4LODGen, Koldorns LOD Noise Replacer, 2048x2048 LODs based on Better Tiling Qarl project by Blade9722...

I believe that's all of the extra stuff that doesn't appear in the load order. If I remember or find something else, I'll add it.

So yeah how SHOULD these mods be ordered to work best together?

And as for the magic overhaul, Mighty Magick says it's compatible with OOO, but doesn't specify whether that means I'd need to have the Spells/Enchantments/Potions/Spell Effects from OOO turned off or not.

I'm sure that isn't the only compatibility thing to address, because as I've said, I'm new to this modding thing. Anything else you have to say or suggest, please do, including other mod suggestions.

I apologize for the very long post. Thank you in advance for your time.

You should download BOSS http://boss-developers.github.io/ . Use it to sort your's plugins in correct load order then you need to rebuild your bashed patch.

For magic i use Supreme Magicka Update by Strategy Master http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/12466/? . It's very balanced, fully configurable via ini file and it's compatible with OOO. I use it with my FCOM installation + a lot of mods and it work fine.

Hi, I also use OOO with Supreme Magicka, and can give it my support as I have been enjoying it. No issues with incompatibilty / errors as far as I can see, but I am curious about how it handles some things that both OOO and Supreme Magicka modify, in terms of gameplay balance/difficulty. For example, both OOO and SM change the price rates for enchanting / spellmaking, but I also have Enhanced Economy (which changes pricing for everything), and now after attempting to disable various things am not sure if I have OOO, vanilla, or some other pricing in place.
