Hello there.

I could need help with a problem. I want to use mods for skyrim.

My problem is a constant CTD i´m getting. always on the same points ind the game.

These points are:

1. in helgen (after char creation) after you jump out of the tower and meet the little boy and the two guys.

2. shortyl after 1. when u choose with who you want to enter the building. axactly when entering the building.

3. after the escape when exiting the caves.

4. when using a savegame i can flawlessly enter any building, but i get a ctd when i want to leave it.

What i did so far:

I installed the mods using NMM,

I used BOSS for the load.

I cleaned the mods (and official addons with TES5Edit.

I Used BOSS again to check again.

I already have the ENBoost installed.

And now to the infos i can provide.

My Rig:

OS: Win 7 Prof. x64

CPU: AMD FX-8350

GPU: NVIDIA GTX 650 Ti Boost (2GB VRAM)

RAM: 16GB (2x 8GB GeiL Dragon Ram)

My BOSS summary:

I believe that you are using a wrong load order for the Unofficial Patches which is strange since you are using BOSS this is mine:

  Quote

These plugins are recognised by BOSS and have been sorted according to its masterlist. Please read any attached messages and act on any that require action.

  • Skyrim.esm Active
  • Update.esm Active
  • Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp Active
  • Dawnguard.esm Active
  • Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp Active
  • HearthFires.esm Active
  • Unofficial Hearthfire Patch.esp Active
  • Dragonborn.esm Active
  • Unofficial Dragonborn Patch.esp Active

also what is that skse plugin you have there

"CellStabilizer.dll"

i ask because usually the Cell Spawns are very delicate to manipulate and that causes plenty of random ctds in outdoors...is that from the mod Stable uGridsToLoad by Altimor? if you have uGridstoLoad above 5 that also gives a lot of instability...

The starting intro quest of the game is very sensitive to mods and you should only install the bare minimum of mods such as overhauls, and UI changes.

Uninstall the following and start a new game:

The Static Mesh Improvement esp's are not necessary; they are covered in the Unofficial Patches.

You shouldn't use the Bethesda High-Res Pack, use the ones on the nexus. You can get rid of 4 esp's that way.

Uninstall all quest mods and follower mods (Such as Falskaar and Wyrmstooth) and the barenziah quest markers.

And uninstall all mods that you won't need immediately, like the alternate Dawnguard Entrance.

Finally, cut down on some Hi-Res files and use ENBoost. Tell us your results.

yes, the CellStabilizer is from Altimor´s uGridsToLoad.

i deleted it. Didn´t change anything.

I reduced my uGridstoLoad back to 5. Didn´t change anything.

I corrected my load order by hand to look like your post. Didn´t change anything.

i try with a new game everytime. and i always get ctd at point 1. in my original post.

I am kinda getting sick to see the lots and lots of videos of people playing skyrim with a whole bunch of mods and seeing me not able to run a handful of them.

and again ctd.

this time at point 2. in my original post.

i removed ALL mods and then just inserted the ones necessary in the beginning (UNP body, eyes, brows, beards) and the unofficial patches.

i also removed the official high-res pack. and therefore i didn´t use the unofficial high-res patch either.

and i have ENBoost running with these settings:

englobal.ini
