Antique Miya
Here are some very helpful pages for beginners: Oblivion Mods FAQ bg's list of base mods I strongly recommand reading up on mods before installing any, if you want a stable and clean game. Don't just dump stuff into data files haphazardly, unless you want to cook up a disaster. I too recommand Slof's Oblivion Horses and Qarl's Texture Pack 3. Make sure you have the redimized version of QTP3 though, as it gives a good fps boost without a noticable loss of quality. As for body replacers, there's Robert's Body Replacer v4 for males. For females, you have a lot more choice : exnem/HGEC (an "upgrade" for exnem's, if you like HGEC I recommand installing EVE), Fantasy Figures, Bab, Eshme and Robert's Female Body Replacer (I'm not sure I can link to these because of adult content - but just use search and you should find them easily). Keep in mind that you'll need a stock clothing and armor replacer if you use body mods though, and they're not always included. Except for EVE, which is one of the reasons why it's so awesome. katashy
I agree with Lfact, you should play the main quest through once, then go to TESNexus.com and go on the Top 100 Mods. Also you should DL Kvatch Rebuilt, Midas Magic Spells and probably Rens hair pack. But yeah i wouldn't download any major game mods until you've done the main quest, but maybe you should download some armour and weapon mods first. Anyway happy gaming!
