Revanchest Posted February 13, 2023 Share Posted February 13, 2023 I have combed google for this and can't believe I found nothing, I'll keep it simple up top and go into detail down below:(TL;DR = Enemy Light Side NPC Jedi encounters. + NPC Jedi / Sith Patrolling Allies to take out other mobs, like Kath Hounds, enemy Jedi, etc.)Part 1 = Light Side Jedi encounters, they use light side force powers, they are NPC's, you encounter them in a few scenarios listed below.Part 2 = Jedi & Sith, you see them everywhere, but unless it's scripted, they pretty much never battle, let alone fight along side you in any meaningful way, I don't want a 12 NPC vs 12 NPC faction war? But having some Patrolling Jedi & Republic troops help you on Dantooine vs Mandalorians & having some patrolling Sith & Dark Jedi on Korriban help you against some of the tomb enemies? You get the idea - but either way! They would ABSOLUTELY help you on the Star Forge, the classic 2 Jedi vs 2 Sith, no longer ambient fights, real stats, real NPC's, real damage and combat, etc - 'Star Forge Jedi Diversity' + Sith/Republic Commandos + Fem Republic & Sith Trooper Mods are ones I love alongside standard graphics updates for each world and companion side quest reward tree & expanded powers and feats + fixed darth revan robes, and shyruk with twin sabres, outside of this, nothing else is changed, so if able? I'd like it to be compatible.Especially the Diverse Star Forge Jedi & Commandos / Fem Troops, as exclusively human jedi and sith was always ridiculous, so was all men for every single soldier in the galaxy X'D*You fight plenty of Dark Side Force Users - you fight NO Light Side Force Users outside of Juhani / Jolee*Imagine the encounters with 3 Dark Jedi on each planet that try to slay you, but replace them with Jedi if you are evil*As noted in the tags, there could also be some Republic Soldiers & 'Insane Jedi' in the underwater base on Maanan.*Another good one would be Lehon (unknown world) and having Light Side Rakata be Sabre wielding and Force Using, easy way to get some more Light Side Force Enemies to fight.*Star Forge would change drastically - you fight Jedi if you're Dark Side, and Sith if you're Light Side - all based on the status of the fight>>>[purely just being what enemies you face, e.g, for Dark Siders, the Jedi just logistically went all out and got pretty far into the Star Forge, even having Korriban Forces under Revan's allegiance fighting against them once he's reclaimed his mantle.]*What does this do? It gives actual use for Force Suppression outside of 1-2 key characters (Like Malak who uses force Speed from Memory)*Methodology? Suggestion;Use existing Jedi NPC's in the game, just give them light side powers based on what they are, Consular, Sentinel, etc - and just have them be encounter variables at 3-4 key locations, they shouldn't outright replace Dark Jedi, as they would logically try to fight you regardless of alignment, but Jedi not even being an enemy until KOTOR 2 and even then, ONLY, as Boss fights? Is ridiculous, it cuts out half of the force power bench in terms of what you can fight, and simply adding Fightable Jedi? Opens up sooooo many renewed experience avenues.*Note;My current way of doing this is just kind of re-equipping some enemies for certain encounters[dark jedi become jedi through save editor but this is tedious and tiresome to do each time and I'd rather have a more 'solid' way of doing it] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
