Slow download speeds on files over 20mb

Hi,

 

I've recently gone back to modding, and I'm currently experiencing unbearably slow download speeds on files over 20 MB—such files are consistently going from 10-20kb/s slowly to 0kb/s over and over again. If it helps, I am not using an ethernet cable.
