jbwenu
When I use Vortex to install mods for Hogwart's Legacy, it is putting them inside a folder chain of "Phoenix\Content\Paks\~mods\, which it puts inside my "Phoenix\Binaries\Win64" folder. This is not where mods are supposed to be put, is it? How can I change that in Vortex? I have the required extension installed, and am set on Hardlink Deployment. jaydawg55
That sounds different from what I do for the games I mod, but the game engine for Hogwarts Legacy may have different requirements than the games I mod and play. That's why you needed an extension installed in Vortex for Hogwarts. Have you tried launching the game to see if it works?
Solution jbwenu Posted February 19, 2023 Author Solution Share Posted February 19, 2023 I figured this out, posting in case someone else made the same mistake as I did. Turns out I accidentally linked HogwartsLegacy.exe to the Hogwart's Legacy\Engine\Binaries\Win64 folder when Vortex couldn't find the game automatically. Not sure how, because whern I was browsing for the .exe, I didn't see one in the correct folder, but did find it in the Win64 folder. Now that I've corrected the folder, the .exe is no longer showing in the Win64 folder. Vortex is also installing mods correctly now.
