[Mod Request (or just some education)] - default movement speed : walking

This might seem an odd request, but does anyone know of a way to change the default movement speed to walking instead of jogging?

I know youths are supposed to be full of energy and seem to have infinite stamina (I used to be one after all...) but they actually don't. There isn't a piece of real world media that I'm aware of in which any realistic person is always running... and it wouldn't be stood for in a school anyway.

If there is a setting in the config files that changes this, please educate me on this. I haven't had time to read through those files.

Thanks in advance.

I so feel your pain. It is so hard to record gameplay of rooms and such when the character is sprinting and stumbling over when toggling walk.... That said, there is a setting you can change in game to enable a press to walk, or toggle to walk, HOWEVER I will note that the toggle switches back off as soon as you stop walking. which is annoying as all hell. So what I do now is I have my walk animation set to a keypress instead of toggle, and I set it to my Mouse button 4, so, granted I have to hold it down to keep walking, but it at least works for now as I can stop and then start walking again as long as I'm still holding the keypress. I wish they would make the "toggle" an acutal toggle that is perminant. Toggle perminant walk on, and even if you stop walking when you start again your still toggled on, until ya hit the toggle again to turn it off... That is how it needs to be.

Hello everyone, I agree, a key that would allow a "fast walk" but which, once activated, will let us enjoy the magnificent landscape without having to hold a key permanently. This would be really ideal to enjoy the game quietly without suffering.

Thank you to the modders who will accept to do it
