ClockOrchestra
I decided I would try my hand at modding. I have never been so good at modelling programs, so I looked around the web for tutorials and everything, but not once did I found a tutorial that would show even remotely how to mix two pieces of armor into a new one, say... the Scaled Armor boots' plate at the front with the Mages Robes' boots. Anyone have any piece of info or a link? Sorry if I am rude, I'm at my wit's end, been trying all night to merge those two together... I don't even know if I am using the right program, lol. Fistandilius
You need to use a 3d modeling program, unless you get really lucky and the two fit perfectly together in nifskope. Most people use blender or 3ds max. Blender is free. There are others. I believe Ghosu uses Cinema 4D, and I've seen people use Mudbox by using the .obj import in nifskope. Your instructions from this point on depend on which program you choose, but I recommend watching youtube videos as there are instructions for each program out there.
