Anniversary Edition Understone Keep Black Screen

Greetings, so I decided to start a new game on Anniversary Edition(GOG), played through as normally, but then I went to Markarth, and upon entering Understone Keep(from both the main entrance and the Hall of the Dead entrance to it) I am hit with a black screen after loading, the ambience plays as normal.

 

What gives? I have the latest version of the game, I tried lowering my graphics settings, didn't help, I tried entering while having windowed mode, still nothing.

 

The only mod I have is USSEP, as I want to mod the game after I am done with every vanilla quest.

 

But apparently that won't come to pass when the game doesn't want to load certain areas(sigh, I though we were way past these kind of problems) even without mods.

 

Any help will be appreciated, thanks in advance.

 

 

EDIT: Apparently the game does NOT like it when I have Save on Travel on and having lots of items on my inventory, by disabling Save on Travel and keeping my Carry Weight below 1000 seems to have mitigated the problem somewhat.
