CTD when starting a new game

Hey people, got a problem. When I try creating a new character, my game CTD's. I can create my character, but the moment that I spawn inside the Imperial Prison and I closed the race menu, my game crashes. Sometimes it takes a bit longer, Valen Dreth can even begin his speech. But it always crashes. Here's my load order, I use Better Oblivion Sorting Software.

Have you tried the usual troubleshooting that is recommended?

 

Be sure you are starting your game with OBSE? Are you sure you have the latest patch? Have you tried disabling mods?

Have you tried starting without mods? Does it work with an old character?

Have you installed any new mods since it last worked? Have you changed anything on your computer since it last worked?

Has it ever worked?

 

First, Go into your system and MOVE everything out of your data folder except the vanilla files - just create a new folder completely outside of Oblivion - as this is intended to be a temporary folder any way, create it on the desktop where you can get to it easily. Name it something like Oblivion-data. This is all you should leave in the original data folder:
