bogoninator
The info: Vortex 1.7.8, Windows 10, 64 RAM, Skyrim SE 164, ~350 mods. The action: I'm relatively new to this - I had a relatively stable set up of mods but I wasnt quite happy with it. I discovered Profiles and cloned the default/base profile so I could tweak things without murdering the stable setup I had. Or at least that was my plan.Result: When I am in the main profile, if I get a Cycle error, I can click into it and get the resolving tool. When I am in the cloned profile, the link to the tool in the cycle message is greyed out. This is probably a function of a cloned profile that I wasnt aware of. But I'm hoping I just made a newbie mistake that I cant seem to find in the forums or greater internet.Ive tried reverting to the default profile to see if the current cycle has appeared there. (It didnt)
bogoninator
Nothing eh?Well I did find out something new. If you clone a profile, you dont get links to resolving cycles. But if you create a new profile with all installed mods disabled and then reinstall mods, you will be able to resolve cycles. It appears to be a limitation of cloning with installed and enabled m mods.
