Dracomies
I'd like to have the option to change the tint of an NPC's body in GECK. I know there is a way to do so, so that it can match with the face. Anyone know how to do this? Lately, I've been making it match by clicking "Can be all races" and letting it "create one from scratch" However, I realize that this ability is lost when new races are created. Can anyone teach me how to change the tint of the body. Basically, quick rundown. I made a character. And the face is just right. i don't want to mess with the color of the face. But the body is much more pale than I'd like. Rather than making the face pale..I'd rather make the body darker. Is there an easy way to do so? If so,answer is- the race must be a MASTER file. Which you can easily make from your esp. in FOMM .You don't have to have all data in master- I keep most presets, hairs and all that junk in esp ,along with NPC data. I was kind of hoping that I could avoid changing it into a master.... Basically, here's what I"m trying to do. There's a mod out there that has a Saram hair pack attached onto a certain race..... When I make changes to the face..., the face doesn't match the tone of the skin. Usually what I do is change the race to Caucasian, or whatever Vanilla race is out there...and then I choose "can be all races" and have it generate a body through "scratch". However, I can't do this anymore, and it just has a body tone that is way different from the face. I suppose another way I may be able to get around this is to change the character's "race" to Caucasian, and then add a hairpack and do it that way... How do you add hair for NPCS, but have it not affect an entire race (just one person at a time)? Where on GECK do I make changes to have that hairstyle show up for an NPC. I tried fiddling with this for days and could never figure it out. I've been trying to fiddle with this for a long time. I even read Saram's, and Josef's instructions..but there is no clear-cut way to add hair for NPCs (not main character). How do people do this? Is there a step-by-step instruction guide here somewhere around this website on how to do this? Thanks Dimon for helping me out a lot on this. How do people do this? Thanks Dimon for helping me out a lot on this. I'm trying to make some adjustments to a mod that I have currently that affects all female npcs. In GECK : Character > Hair , open it . Either duplicate or create new. There's about million of tutorials on how to do that, Google it. Oblivion tutorials are all good too. However, here is "my way" ;) Get latest, awesomiest and fulliest Hair pack esp. Load it up in GECK as active along with your master,if you made it already , or with your custom race esp (passive of course). Now, add your custom race to Hair pack by doing any kind of crap to it-like change on letter in the name,ect- you need a * next to it's ID -that's it,then your race is added to Hair pack. Save. Exit. If you got some presets you gonna need- add em too before save. Now, Reload with only your new "Hair/eye packed" custom race esp Open Hair tab, add all hairs/eyes to your custom race. Save, exit.Open this plugin in FOMM plugin editor. Under race entry, select and DELETE all vanilla races-this way your esp not gonna conflict with "real" Hairpack.Save,exit.Open your esp in GECK again, lol. Warning: header doesn't match, blabla: correct the header? "Yes" Do nothing, save, exit, lol. Now, make backup, you got your custom race with all junk included - 10 times faster then adding hair/eyes one by one. As a bonus-completely independent and not conflicting with ANYTHING. Just remember -EVERY time you open race tab later-stupid GECK will add african american or caucasian to your esp. Even if you don't touch them. It's a glitch/bug. But you now know how to clear that -in FOMM, just delete that race. And you don't really need race tab very often anymore - unleast you add more hair, you should have done all work in that tab, like setting up custom body mesh or face texture ,lashes ect , already. All basic stuff I did skip-like adding this and what to click to delete that-Google. Too much to type, and it was typed million times, with better grammar then me,hehe.
