Vortex closing after splashscreen

Hi,

 

my Vortex manager does not want to start up anymore since it closes after showing the splash screen.

 

The task manager shows that five processes are running, two filling up with a lot of RAM, then vanishing.

 

I checked and found out it's the folder "%appdata%\Vortex\state.v2" - there are 81 .ldb-files, their size is between few kb and ~4MB. In total they take up 189MB.

 

Since I got 870 mods installed and configured, I do not want to loose this progress.

 

Is there any way I can restore my setup without having to download & reinstall everything?

UPDATE: I GOT IT!

 

If this should happen to you, here it is.

1. MAKE A BACKUP OF THIS FOLDER: %appdata%\Vortex\state.v2
2. Go into the folder and check the number in the name of the latest .lbs file, e.g. 003604
3. Open and change the number in the file CURRENT to the number of the latest .lbs-file
4. Change the filename MANIFEST-xxxxxx to the number of the latest .lbs-file

This did it for me, it's back up and runnig again!
