Blue Snowball Microphone for $30 (white model)

I wasn't sure if this was the best forum to post in, and I hope it doesn't violate any form rules, but here goes. In an effort to get more peeps on board with producing voice work, I wanted everyone to know bestbuy has the Blue snowball micropone, in white, for $30. At that price it seems to be a no brainer. Good reviews, fairly solid piece of hardware for $30. I don't know if the sale ends today, but the white version is on their website with free shipping (or store pickup) as well as their ebay store (also free shipping).

It also has a nice retro look to compliment FONV. The chrome has greater visual appeal for fallout (IMHO) but you can't beat a $20 discount off the white version. Note this is a USB only mic, so if your looking for a professional mic with a XLR connector, this won't fit the bill.

 

Even if your modding skill is only one step above a brain damaged amoeba, voice work is something everyone can contribute to the community, with a minimum amount of hardware investment.

I would think self-promotion (of products or services) would certainly be off the table, but I wouldn't think informing the fallout community of a good deal that is unrelated to my self interest (other than wanting more voice actors for my mods and other authors mods) is an acceptable altruistic post. However if the moderators feel different they will remedy the situation.

 

 

Yeah I think it's a good piece

From the reviews I'v read and watched, I think it's a good choice for the level of quality we're looking for and at this price it shouldn't break the bank.
