Terminal Notes

Hey guys, new to Modding for Fallout 3. Just need to get my head around scripting etc but anyway. How do I make notes for a terminal I ahve placed in my "scene". I have created a new Terminal (new terminal I mean new form ID) so then how do I put the notes in the terminal just like you see when you open a terminal for say in the citadel?

Thanks in ADV :)

You need to create a new note, give it a formId (make sure you remember it) and then simply type the message you want.

From there, you have to go back to the terminal and find Display Note, and then find your created one somewhere in the list that pops up. Then you're all set. Once they click on the 'link' you made in the terminal the display note will be... well... displayed!

Thank you :).

How would I create sub menus?

Eg. I have two links in the terminal, one called "orders" and the other called "occupants".

How would I then make it so that after clicking "orders" that two notes called "experiment no 30" and "trade routes" are then there?

Thanks in adv

Sub menus are actually new terminals, one menu, one terminal.

To accomplist what you're after make a SECOND terminal with two options to display the "experiment no 30" and "trade routes" notes, to do this follow the instructions Khet provided.

After you're done go back to the first terminal, select the "orders" item and select your second terminal from the Sub Menu dropdown list. Now when you select the orders option in-game the second terminal wil be displayed and there will be the two notes to choose from.
