So im very well versed in mods and script extender archive invalidation etc. I've been modding for years but im having issues i just cant fix myself so if someone could please read this and help me out it would be wonderful! I have 148 mods in my load order so i have quite a collection and im a bit of a modaholic. Just Recently I've been having huge issues every time i install a new mod and play for 2min every single modded in game item will have the big annoying Red Exclamation Points all over and if i go to load a new save or save my game every single file will be corrupted i will have to quit the game when i re launch New-Vegas my auto save with be deleted and everything will seem normal and then 2min later the same thing will happen. The only thing that will end this awful process is deleting a couple mods which i don't want to have to do. After deleting 1 or 2 mods everything will be fine until i go to install something new. Its almost like my game has reached its limit of mod capacity and it gets angry if i try and add any more. Can anyone please help? I currently have NVAC, FNVSE, 4g, and archive invalidation all active so the problem is not that im missing something to my knowledge

Yes, there is a magical limit. After you reach about 140 mods on average the game starts to get REALLY buggy, with dropped meshes (red exclamation marks), dropped textures, and all kinds of other weird goings on. If you really want to keep all your mods, I would strongly suggest looking into either merging mods with the FNV Plugin Utility (link below), or with FNVEdit (IIRC, never used it to merge mods, but I believe it does have that capability.) I would also strongly suggest making a bashed patch with Wrye Bash, this will automatically merge some of your mods as well as help with identifying mod conflicts.
