guessingo
I just got NWN2 and never played NWN1. I installed the mods listed here other than the spell fixes. http://social.bioware.com/forum/Neverwinter-Nights-2/NwN-2-General-Discussion-forums-No-Spoilers-Allowed/Good-mods-for-this-game-3315506-1.html I also installed Charlies UI mod. I was wondering if there are any mods or maybe I can configure the ones I have to do this or I just dont know the UI well. 1. can hold down a key and all items that can be clicked are highlighted. Right now I have to hunt my mouse around to to figure out what chests, etc... can be clicked. 2. a button that can turn on npc names above the npcs and turn them off. Makes it easier to find them. 3. a mod that lets me click on the minimap and go there. 4. make enemies glow or do something to make them standout. Sometimes its hard to spot them.5. more detailed party AI. I am following the following newbie start. This guide says to get a spear. I use that http://nwn2.wikia.com/wiki/Beginner's_Cleric_-_Ro(2),F(2),Clr(16),SL(10) Every time I click off to another character, I automatic switch to a bow. This just wastes ammunition. Any mods that allow me to give specific instructions not to switch weapons>? 6. I dont quite understand puppet mode. However, I am at the bandit camp and I have 2 party members. Most of the time I want everyone to attack the same mod. Is there a way to do this consistently, without switching characters? Not sure if this is what puppet mode does. Not sure if there is a mod for this. 7. are there any inventory management mods? Skyrim has skyUI. I find that icon based inventories are a hassle. Also an inventory mod that has tabs for item types would be nice.
Tchos
You didn't say what version of NWN2 you have. I'll assume it's the full package with Mask of the Betrayer and Storm of Zehir. 1 and 4 don't need a mod. The Z key highlights usable items, and also highlights NPCs in colours depending on whether they're friend or foe. Before installing a mod for more advanced AI, have you been to the Behaviour tab for each of your characters? There are many options to set there to handle specific instances such as weapon-switching. Another options is to not give the character a weapon you don't want them to automatically use. If those options are not enough, try Tony K's Companion and Monster AI 2.2. Puppet mode means that your companions will not do anything until you specifically order them to do so. It's basically turning their AI off. If you want to give orders in general, select all of your party members and click to attack one mob. In some camera modes, selection of multiple characters may be disabled by default. In strategy mode, you should be able to drag a marquee over all party members to select them all. There's also a key you can assign to select all party members. See the game options. I also made a UI mod, with different goals than Charlie's. The other questions I can't answer. I don't know if there are mods that address them.
Agatana
Is there some way to keep Druids from automatically going into animal form? It is especially infuriating when you need healing and can't access their healing ability.

It is especially infuriating when you need healing and can't access their healing ability. In the character's Behaviour tab on their character sheet, I think that's what the Polymorph setting is for. If it's switched to "off", they shouldn't go into animal form, though class mods like Kaedrin's PrC (which I know alters druid behaviour) may bypass that setting. I have tried disabling Elanee's UI for using abilities and clicked on all, I do not have any mods downloaded yet either. She still changes to animal form and my pc druid does the same. Tchos
What about the polymorph setting, not just using abilities?
Agatana
Let me look to be sure, but I don't remember a polymorph tab. Thanks for the helpful suggestions.
Agatana
Just checked and the tabs under behavior are: puppet mode follow distance disarm traps defend master open locks stealth mode spellcasting dispel spells item usage ability usage I didn't think this 72 yr old brain had calcified that much. I do not have MoTB loaded nor SoZ. When I load in MoTB, Daeghun doesn't recognize that I have the shard when I come back from the ruins. I found a code that was supposed to fix that, but it doesn't. So I can't advance the OC past that point. Do you know if SoZ fixes that , or is there some where I can find the old updates for it? I liked MoTB, but didn't care for the encounter system in SoZ(otherwise the storyline was pretty good). Thanks
Tchos
Ah, I see. Yes, the Polymorph option was added in SoZ. My usual assumption is that anyone asking for troubleshooting today is likely a player who bought it recently, and the most easily buyable copies today have MotB and SoZ included. I personally would recommend getting SoZ, even if you didn't like the encounter system, if you want to play any user-created modules or campaigns, since many make use of its resources, but I believe that if you install all the way up to the final update, you'll have all of the bugfixes that SoZ included without having to have the expansion itself. I've never had to do the manual patching, though, since I first installed the game when the update servers were still active, and now I have the GOG version, which comes pre-installed fully updated. But the manual patches are available at this link. I filtered the list to English patches for Windows just to cut down the list a little, but it's still a big mess. You can also get the Polymorph option in the behaviour tab if you install Tony_K's AI mod, because SoZ's Behaviour tab is a "lite" version of that mod. https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwn2/script/companion-and-monster-ai-
Agatana
So if I reinstall MoTB and SoZ then the shard bug in the OC will be fixed as well as giving me the polymorph tab? I do still have the original discs I bought when they came out.In fact I have all the Neverwinter Nights original games except the last one. What do you mean by "lite version"?
