Whats with all the xxx mods?

Meh, it's doing the right thing because they can't do it for the "right" political reason.

Say you are doing it because X, Y and Z religious groups don't want it will offend the masses.

Any other reason though they might can make work - no matter how ludicrous.

 

At the end of the day though your kids foundation is made at home.

Make a good foundation and they will have the skills needed to make the best decision in crunch time - when all they have to fall back on is the foundation you laid.

All anyone can expect a school to do is help reinforce that foundation, not to be a surrogate parent to create the foundation for your kids.
