After a couple of thousand hours playing this game... what mod that isn't out there could make a huge difference to the game?

So this idea is something I've wished was available for a long time, I can't create a mod so I'm hoping somebody out there who can thinks it's a sweet idea too.

 

So battles are a major draw for this game, but I'd like to know where my family is in the midst of it, my wife for example. I like the idea of her doing her own thing and not covering me. The idea of an icon above her head would make such a big difference, the idea of coming to her aid etc sounds like so much fun and add more spice and reality to the battles. Like sometimes i'd like to chop a few heads off then check my wife is ok. Even some kind of feature where someone sends word to you that she is badly wounded (maybe she is down to 20% health) and you go and kick ass to protect her, or maybe more than one family member is badly wounded and you have to choose one to go help. Battles can be chaotic and I feel for added realism this would be so good.

 

Anyway that's my observation!
