Darkonus
Title pretty much says it all. Thanks in advance for your time and happy holidays! I am trying to make a mod that will change the sounds a Fox uses for breathing, pain, death, etc. I have tried to figure it out on my own but I don't understand how that stuff works just looking at it and cannot find any tutorials to help me with this. Anybody feel like throwing me a bone? :
LegendofThunder
Personally, I've never changed SFX, however I like the idea! As for this bone you're looking for, I can only really suggest that you make a duplicate and edit that duplicate, after editing set the fox to use the duplicate. This is assuming the problem you're having is the separation :)
Darkonus
Well the thing is that I've already set up almost everything. I have the sound files ready, in the right format. I have the new CK files for the breathing "events" and they reference the proper sound files. I also set up a new voice type for Foxes and assigned it to their race. But the problem is the voice type only has three variables; name (ID), gender and "Allow Default Dialogue" are those three options. It doesn't seem like they specify any new files so I have no idea what that is supposed to do. D: EDIT: For more clarity, what I've done is copy the original voice-related files for the Fox (breathing, breathing running, injured, death) and it's voice type (someit like CrFoxVoice) then edited them. I also have new actual sound clips, though I'm also not sure where to put those for best results. Some folders are inaccessible by the CK to be used for voice so that's another thing I'd like to hear more about. Again though, no idea what to do with the voice type. Darkonus
Tentative bump. Figure it's better than starting a whole new thread, even though the forum rules kind of seem to frown on bumping.
