olha2 Posted December 18, 2013 Share Posted December 18, 2013 (edited) Hello so i returned to oblivion again, and i just decided to use MMM (downloaded here: http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/files/file/1283-martigens-monster-mod/ )and i downloaded both the zip files (one including the .esm and all the .esp's, and one containing the .bsa file) and put it in my oblivion/date folder,however in game non of the meshes are showing up, its like im missing the entire Mart's Monster Mod.bsa file but the Mart's Monster Mod.bsa is in my oblivion/date for sure so what whats causing this and more importantly: how do i fix this? ElderScrollsFan001 Posted December 19, 2013 Share Posted December 19, 2013 (edited) Well the only way I could get it to install and work correctly was to use Wrye Bash to install it. Also it is important to use the All Natural patch that comes with All Natural, I think, otherwise spawn points will get corrupted a lot. DrakeTheDragon Posted December 19, 2013 Share Posted December 19, 2013 Hmm, the filenames of the ESM and the BSA match for one, so the BSA-auto-load-by-plugin feature should actually kick in. But maybe it only works with ESPs either? Can't remember anymore. The other means to make BSAs get loaded by the game is to enter their name into the list of BSAs to load inside your Oblivion.ini. it while using other overhauls aswel. im gonne try to add the Mart's Monster Mod.bsa to the oblivion INI -edit-unrelated i think but ill post: BTW i just lookt at my oblivion.INI and it look mest up, there where no ;enters; only ;spacebars; so i deleted it (still have a backup) and let oblivion regenerate a new one. -edit2-i fixed my oblivion.ini and added the .BSA still missing meshes heres my They all seem to encourage the auto-load feature which is triggered by renaming the BSA file according to the plugin that's going to be used. However, you already mentioned the two correct files in the OP, so as long as the filenames actually are the way you told above, both exactly the same, this thing should in fact already work. Though they're talking of renaming an "MMM.bsa" in all three cases. In case you didn't rename it, yet, none of the steps we tried so far will work, not even the direct entry into the INI, because we entered a file which doesn't exist in this case. At least the default BSAs 'must' already be in there, or the game won't be able to load anything at all.But yes, it's also inevitable to redo Archive Invalidation, as soon as you removed your INI. This entry into this line is a crucial part of A.I. Without it, the empty dummy BSA alone will not have an effect, if it's not loaded at this place in the list.
