Square Shadows when using Torch/Candlelight

Hey guys,

So this usually happens indoors when I pull out a torch or use candlelight. Black shadowy blocks will appear on certain locations when I either move towards the location or look at it. If I move my camera away from the location, the square shadow will disappear.

I attached 2 images to display my problem. If you look in the first picture, under the white fur rug, you'll see the shadow block I'm referring to. However, in the second pic, when I turn my camera away from it, the shadow will disappear.

Again, this usually happens indoors or at night when I have the torch/candlelight out. Also, I've disabled/enabled certain mods to determine if it was a mod that is causing the effect and narrowed it down to Realistic Lighting Overhaul and Sounds of Skyrim Civilization/Dungeon. I also turned off all mods and the issue still occurs, however, not as much, since the shadow blocks are lighter and there are less of them due to lighting differences between the mods and vanilla (I assume).

Anyway, hopefully there's a fix for this?

Hey man, I was having the same problem here, but I just recently noticed that it's not 'cause of the torches or lamps, it keeps happening using candellight, magelight spells. Check this out

Then I tried by disabling all lighting mods I had and voilá, problem solved..

What we need is to them getting their mods compatible with any source of light, (torches, lighting spells and so on..)

(I came a little bit late, but this may be helpfull for some others asking themselves WHY !)

I don't not know what that mod does but the square shadow problem is a result of having too many lights in one place, it does not matter what type of light it is, if too many lights overlap in a particular area this will be the result.
