Weird Black texture shading issue with Custom Race Model

I'm having a bit of trouble on my end with a custom race model for a mod I made. I'm having issues with strange black shading appearing on the model in dimly lit areas.

 

 

Is there anyway I could fix this at all? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
