Title says it all and to be honest with you this is starting to make my head spin a little. Idk where to even start. I do have Oblivion Mod Manager but I'd really like some help with how to use it.

I'd like to be able to change how the in game characters look with new bodies and whatnot but idk which mod to start with and what patch goes where to what file. If someone could PM me and give me some advice/answer questions I would greatly appreciate it.

hello there,

fine to see you here.

modding is difficult and very easy, after having understood the Basics for one time.

Open Explorer and have a look at your Oblivion/Data folder. For the Basics there should be a folder "meshes" and a folder "textures" and an esp (or more than one). if you have a look at a mod, there are basicly these three parts, too. Sometimes there is more like sound or an OBSE plugin but those are the more difficult mods. The only thing you must do is to put the mod- files to the corresponding folders and the esp to the data folder meshes under meshes and textures under textures. then aktivate the esp in te Oblivion folder and the mod will begin to work next Gamestart. Mostly its enough to put whole mod (meshes, textures and esp) after unpacking them, to the data folder and activate the esp. Drag and drop and aktivate and have fun.
