j3lly0m3lly
i bought F4 being pretty sure that some1 already had to make a lifesteal mod for it, but surprisingly no1 made it yet, so here i come with a request for it:for the players that prioritize combat gameplay, the need for the constant healing item application, storage, and management is just an unnecessary inconvenience that forces them to distract themselves from the part of the gameplay that's the most important to them, breaking the precious combat flow. a simple but perfect solution to this problem is rewarding the player with healing them the more damage they deal, merging healing with the most crucial element of combat itself in a seamingless way, removing the distraction in the process.function suggestions:- a command letting the player set how big percentage of their dealt damage will be given to them as healing (like 0.01% or 10000%)- player's health automatically restoring to full when combat ends (togglable)- a command letting the player choose if the npcs also have the lifesteal or not- make it so the player's lifesteal only works for targets that are fighting the player (so the player isn't incentivized to randomly shoot companions in the butt for free healing)- a command letting the player choose if the lifesteal works only for melee or all damage types- a command letting the player choose if the lifesteal also heals the limbs (not sure how limb health works in F4 so idk if it's even needed) Edited April 9, 2023 by j3lly0m3lly
hereami
It's Vampire legendary in F76, i'd suppose can be replicated already in one of mods that expand legendary effects, perhaps?Andraste doesn't approve Blood magic though.
KillerFrostk1
It's understandable that you were surprised to find that nobody had created a lifesteal mod for F4 yet. It seems like you have a clear idea of what you're looking for, and you believe that integrating lifesteal mechanics into the game could enhance the combat experience by removing the need for constant healing item application and management. It's important to note that while this mod idea aligns with your preferences and gameplay style, its development and implementation would require the expertise of modders familiar with the Fallout 4 game engine and modding tools. KikiVelika
You might want to check out the "Equipment and Crafting Overhaul (ECO)" mods by DankRafft. He added a lot of Fo76 and custom affixes to the legendary mod crafting parts of his mods. And with the possibility to add multiple legendary mods to your weapons and armor, you can basically create a perma self-healing character that also obliterates everything in its way with explosion, burns and bleed stacking. Fantafaust
There is a mod that adds a lifesteal function in melee via a "cybernetic implant" consisting of nanobots, Cybernetic Implantation Laboratory, but it might not be exactly to your liking.
