ProtectorBoy
Hello, all! First forum post in I think forever, definitely my first on the Nexus. Anyways, I've been trying to create a custom player race based on Breeze New Vegas Males, and using TFH's gorgeous bullet/misc scar faces. I'd also like to add some tattoos, but ti doesn't seem they're supported for males aside from Breezes standard raider/tribal tattoos. I found these here: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/7845/?tab=3&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffallout3%2Fajax%2Fmodimages%2F%3Fid%3D7845%26user%3D1&pUp=1 But they seem to apply to Roberts bodies and I'm not sure how trying to slap them on a Breeze body would work...Not to mention I can't even find the Oriental tat among the files he has listed. The one time I tried editing a race in GECK I accidentally deleted the head/face texture and for the life of me cannot undo or add another, so I'm unsure how to proceed. I've checked out some tutorials, but after the first few steps I was completely lost, as reading and/or watching a tutorial does not provide a lot of opportunities for immediate feedback. I only just got all my mods uploaded and working correctly, but now I want to branch out and start truly customizing my wasteland experience. Tl;dr: I'm trying to combine Breezes meshes with Jackson and TFH's textures, as well as adding in the ability to utilize Mikotos hair and eyes. I want to end up with a scarred, tatted wastelander with golden eyes, a rugged, beaten individual who wears his marks for everyone to see. I'm completely inexperienced with the GECK, NIFscope, Blender, and all the other goodies. I'm just trying to cannibalize the assets at my disposal and have no clue where to start. Heck, I don't even know if I'm posting this in the right forum (mods, plz forgive me! :pinch: ) so any and all help is appreciated. Explain it to me like I'm 5, because right now all I have are two empty folders labeled Meshes and Textures. Thanks a million! -PB
