loveme4whoiam Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 I'm a novel person myself (hey, that works on two levels :D), and im generally into historical or light fantasy. I also read a shed-load of factual books for my courses and for just general interest.
CrazyGilbert Posted March 13, 2005 Posted March 13, 2005 I like Fantasy books especially R.A Salvatores The forgotten realms series
Darnoc Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 Science-Fiction and Fantasy. Personally, I cannot understand why someone would write or read a book about our reality. We see our reality every day, so why should someone write or read about it? The interesting things are the visions. Visions of what could be. Those are the really interesting books. I'd like to think that people writing about our reality just lack imagination. And if they lack imagination, they should stop writing right now. Without those people thinking about what could be, we would be still living in caves. Writing about what is or what was is just so unimaginative. Thankfully, not all people are like that. Or we would really be still living in caves.
CrazyGilbert Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 yeah, i guess so but poeple have there own opinions.
Slaiv Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 Fantasy/Science Fiction. Orson Scott Card is one of my favourite authors - the Ender's series is one of my personal favourites. Thrillers are good as well - Clancy, etc...
