Krazyman999
I'd like a mod made that is just plain simple a mod that makes pregnant NPC's, no sex, just background characters who are expecting. you don't need a lot, just a few in select towns. The Characters don't need to give birth, or get pregnant. They don't need to be married, they could be living rough in the middle of nowhere. But basically, they just need to walk around in all their pregnant glory, just to add variety. Kev...
daventry
I made the Same type of Request :) http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/986185-pregnant-and-having-a-baby/
Krazyman999
Yeah... My request is even more basic than yours. Just simple NPC pregnant females, who wanders around. The only problem would be clothing, they would only be able to wear maternity style baggy clothing... Kev...
VanKrill
So it really requires a bit more than just a specialty race with a body mesh including baby bump in the belly. You need clothing for the Preggo woman which is debilitating role appropriate. Which is to say, even though the "Strong Nord Woman" may be able to wear her armor and go into battle in the first 5 months of Preggo, in the last four months, she's likely to wear only cloth, and then it will be, at least at the last, at a slow, waddling gate. It is only in those last four months that you even need to have a Preggo Mod. So you need new animation files to reflect the slow and cumbersome movement mod, just as some mod emphasize a young, lethe, sexy walk. Additionally, you'd need a animation and variant of the shield to act the new born babe being carried in one arm. There should be a static object with sound effects and scripts for the Babe, along with a Bassenette ( variant of a basket combined with a small table ) in which the child is placed when not being handled. There should also be mini-children, with animations of a clumsy walk, to act as toddlers and young children. Skyrim, as it stands, only makes a passing stab at showing real family life in the game. I understand WHY Bethesda did it. Resources, time, complexity, and not enough payback, because most players just don't give a damn. I'd am working on a mod to do all of the above, since I could not find one. The mod is targeted at being one of the custom mods added to my Immersion Compilation Project, where I screen and test a collection of mods for a complete and seamless Immersion experience. The Preggo aspect is important in my mod series, because you are playing the role of Thane->Jarl who is founding a new Hold up in the isles of the frozen north. The Jarls of the lower holds, and possibly the Empire and Vigilents of Stendar, are all trying to kill you and your wive(s) and children, to prevent your creating a dynasty which threatens them. The player defending the Preggo Wive(s) and Children's Creche are a very important part of the plot line and motivating emotions behind it. So, in short, I am working on such a mod, which will be "modular" and could be used outside of the Immersion Compliation Project I am creating. Krazyman999
Still a bit too complicated for what I was meaning, I was meaning an adult, but with a system more like the NPC children. AKA, you can't really do much with them, and they don't have many outfits. You can't change their clothes or pickpocket them, to avoid problems with incompatibility problems. They wouldn't fight, they'd flee from fighting and have limited dialogue options. This, I reckon would have been an easier option for just filling out the town. In my idea, you'd have only longer term pregnant women with no going full term. I know this wouldn't have been realistic, but as I said, my idea is just a start. Just eye candy, sort of like the Vanilla version of Skyrim. Just the basic building blocks for modders to add to, like Skyrim does with the Vanilla versions. I'm new to Skyrim on the PC, and haven't really began tinkering around with making mods for it. So, I'll probably make one myself eventually, unless someone else makes one. Although I do like your more family orientated version, with quests... Kev...
Deleted1308005User
Well, I think I understand what you mean and basically easiest way to do this is by simply making piece of clothing that makes the character look like pregnant, then make it unusable by player and just put them on NPC's that you want to use them. I too, would appreciate just a simple mod like that. There are several NPC's in game already that would be perfect candidates for bearing those outfits. And yes yes Daventry, you have request for that, and for 20,000 other things as well. I'm thoroughly interested in this. I don't remember if there's already some preggo outfits available. Krazyman999
Yeah! that's a great idea. The underlying body mesh and skin texture, would mean you could even show some of her stomach bump in the warmer areas of Skyrim, if needed. Whilst still being an item of clothing, It would also make a fun outfit for women, if they wanted a quick and easy way to make their character look pregnant. Or men, a quick beer belly outfit or fat suit without all the hassle of altering reams of costumes and armours. 1. Single maternity morphed outfits for the women2. Beer belly outfits for the men Quick and easy, all in the item of clothing. Take it off and you're normal again, sort of like a fat suit. It would mainly be for NPC's, but fat or pregnant outfits could be a fun option for normal clothing. No need for a full line of outfits, when you could have one outfit and call it something like 'MATERNITY DRESS'. Kev... Update...23.2.14... Looks like someones made a Fat Man body replacer, and it looks good judging by the pictures. Fat Bastard Male body Replacer by foster..................... http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51308/?
