So much easier when I could peruse FCOM and know load orders.

 

Anyways, sometimes I crash when I save (fast travelling, going into buildings, waiting, or quicksaving) But this only happens in some areas.

 

PLEASE HELP :/

Allright, I looked at that tutorial, and here's what I've ended up with. Could you take a look and make sure I didn't do anything obvious?

 

I mean obviously there are a lot of mods out there and you can't know how all of them interact, but I tried throwing it up against the tutorial and this is what I got.

it looks good to me, although im no expert on it.

 

oh but maybe the main Mart's Mutant Mod.esp should go up 2.. and im not using the 2 in conjunction myself but if the Mart's Mutant Mod - XFO (not FOOK).esp is meant to be used in place of the regular Mart's Mutant Mod.esp then you should put it up above the MMM addons and depending on what it says in the readme only use one of them.

 

some other things you could do if youre still having lots of crashes are; get the unofficial patch, use 1.4 + the fake patch, use CASM and turn off autosaves, disable GFWL, make sure your not running any extra stuff in the background like anti-virus stuff etc etc.

 

but i try to adhere to all these rules and there are still days/areas of the game where i can barely go a few minutes without a crash

It's my computer. I tried the same loadout on a better computer and no crashes. I think my graphics card is slightly damaged. bummer.

could be overheating, the fan is often the thing to go on a graphics card in my experiences.. you could download a tool to see what temp your running games at.

 

or if the fans working, maybe you need a different set of drivers for your card (?)

that is actually what I'm thinking. It's a laptop, but I have a warranty on it, and they don't have to know I left it sitting on my bedsheets. :D

 

It's probably the fan, but still, bummer, you know?
