Krytikyle Posted April 15, 2023 Share Posted April 15, 2023 Hey All, I am currently busy with personally resizing and compressing face textures for other mods such as Diamond City Expanded, Facials for Everyone, etc. on my end that cause rusty/brown face conflicts with Real HD Face Textures 2K and just want to ensure all my eggs are in a basket before I tackle the mountain. As per https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/articles/4121/ the following compression is to be used: Face diffuse map (_d) =BC3Face Normal map (_n) =BC5Face Specular map (_s) =BC5 Based on the first comment "The dimensions for 1K face textures are 1024x1024, though not for everything. Diffuse (_d.dds) and normal (_n.dds) are supposed to be 1024x1024. Specular textures, on the other hand, should be half the size - 512x512." Assuming this to be correct, I gather that the following should be resized as follows?: _d should be 2048x2048_n should be 2048x2048_s should be 1024x1024 I just want to make sure the files are all resized correctly and compressed with correct formats, and IF provided permission from the original Mod authors of the Mods I do change I will possibly upload 2K ba2 texture files for anyone using Real HD Face Textures 2K with other mods like Diamond City Expanded, Facial for Everyone etc..
