UK47 Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 new DLC ???? What do you think it will be  ? I hope that Bethesda will add DX10 render or GPU Physics that would be awesome  !!!!!!!!!!!
Deepblue686 Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 I hope it'll be a full expansion like Shivering Isles.I don't mind buying those as they have a lot of content.
pmcca011 Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 where have you heard about new dlc, link would be nice  everything I have read recently says that Bethesda was done with making more dlc
dezdimona Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 there was an official word from bethesda a while ago that they did intend to release one more DLC for Oblivion .It was on the site here, but as I said a while ago!
pmcca011 Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 They said there were making something new for the elder scrolls if I remeber correctly. That turned out to be an actual elder scrolls book which hasn't been released yet to my knowledge, maybe that is what your talking about. I could be wrong but that is the only thing I have heard of.
dezdimona Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 then all we can do is wait and see what transpires!
simonp92 Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 I dont believe that they are making a new DLC.. Originally posted by Gstaff on Bethesda forumsHi there To clarify, we don´t have any plans for new content for Oblivion, but like Pete said, there are some plans to do something with Oblivion. When I have more information, I´ll share it with you guys. you need to show me some evidence..
darkjaffar Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 Yeah, I think that was the book they were working on. Even if there was a DLC, they probably wouldn't do something like change GPU physics. That would require changing the engine itself. There would be little benefit to them for making such a major update. It wouldn't be in the form of a .esp or .esm.
ChalkLine Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Judging by what's been coming out for Fallout 3, I'd say any DLC will be cheap, nasty, cause a ton of bugs and make a lot of modder's work incompatible. The base engine would have new, exciting ways of locking and crashing, the DLC would add little of any worth and be of a calibre far lower than that of the modding community. Yes, I have spent the last two days trying to get FO3 to work, why do you ask?
