Hello I am new at everything with a gaming computer. I just got this lovely beast of a computer a couple a days ago. (My previous gaming computer was a hunk of junk that could barely handle WoW) I signed up for this site and downloaded a couple of mods- simple mods with the Nexus Mod manager. Having done that I am just now trying to install this mod called Real Vision ENB

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30936/

The directions for this mod was very confusing. So I watched a youtube video that showed you how to install this mod.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RdTuA0np_Wg#t=96

I did everything exactly as he did it. I reached up to 9.44 in the video, where he said to turn of the anti-aliasing. I wasn't sure how to get to that options area before you start the game. I went to the Skyrim folder and clicked on the SkyrimLauncher.exe file thinking that was it. I then got the generic error message when something doesn't work on a computer. "Skyrim Launcher has stopped working- A problem caused the program to stop working correctly." Am I not clicking the right thing or did I break something.

The few mods I have are Sky UI, Helmet Toggle, and Phenderix Magic Evolved and something else called SKSE

I am running windows 64 bit with a gtx titan and 32GB of RAM.

Please help

You want to open the open your SkyrimPrefs file. It is in the same folder as the Skyrim.ini file he talks about just after, at 10:00 in that video (My Documents\My Games\Skyrim).

Open it and find the line that says "iMultiSample=x" where x is a number. Change it to 0 and save it. Also make sure "bFXAAEnabled=0" is set to 0 to disable it. They are both located under [Display].

Ok I will try that. I did tried launching skyrim and got an error message. It said a file was missing so I looked that up. The problem was a dll file from the ENB series called d3d9.dll. But now I have no clue. I'll check out what you just said.

You have to make sure to follow everything in the instructions for the ENB to the letter. If I remember correctly, they have a link with a download, but you only pull 2 (or so) files out of it. Reread the instructions carefully.
