InDarkestNight
I'd like to give the Monster Mod another shot. However, that mod is infamous for balance issues. I once ran into these flame atronachs on the side of the road that could one-shot me but seemed invulnerable. I removed the mod after that. I was still low-level mind you. I also recall running into a room with 4 boss monsters in it near the beginning. I didn't find that too enjoyable either, for obvious reasons. Obviously, if I am going to try and give this mod another go, I need to make myself as powerful as possible. Problem is, I'll need to be powerful at all levels, not just later in the game. I really don't know how to approach this. I never could figure out how to play on any difficulty higher than expert. All I can figure out is that being an orc would probably be the best idea due to their racial power. Also, I believe illusion spells are effective on all monsters regardless of their stats (minus their level of course)? In light of that, perhaps an imperial or nord may actually be a wiser idea. What's the most powerful you can be at level 1? What are the best skills to invest in? I've long heard stealth archer is the most OP, but in my one master playthrough I found that didn't work so well at the early levels for some reason. Besides, with this mod I was running into its monsters on the roadside, so clearly I can't be relying on stealth all the time. How should I approach this challenge?
