Silver Crossbow Bolt Mod (WIP)

Welp, I'm making my first mod. I have some screenshots and then some questions:

 

First, the shots:

You may notice that the silver bolts do less damage than Dwarven Bolts and more damage than Steel Bolts.

 

Now my questions:

 

1) The bolts, because they use Silver Ingots--which are rare--should the base damage be increased? (however, see next question)

 

2) However, I marked the Silver Bolts as "VendorItemArrow" So, does that mean they are buyable? So far, I haven't seen them in shops. See this screenshot: http://imageshack.us/a/img845/5343/epc1.png

Notice that the material is silver, and I'm wondering if that material has been set to be "unbuyable." Do I have to add another material to make them available in shops?

 

3) I need someone to help me make the bolts (which are based on the steel bolt textures) look 'silver.' I'm having a hard time doing it on my own. What I want is a shaft that's pure metal, a tip that's silver, and the feathers to be red.

 

4) How do I find the correct load order?

Second: HELP NEEDED

 

I've got a mod downloaded called "Convenient Crossbows," which allows the selling of crossbows and bolts (steel and dwarven). I want to make vendors from Archer salesmen, blacksmiths, and general goods stores sell my Silver Bolts WITHOUT conflicting with Convenient Crossbows, or other mods that add custom weapons to vendors.

 

Step-by-step, how do I do that? I've seen many posts about this, and I read them carefully, and to be honest, I'm totally confused. Help?

 

(Also, how to make the textures shine would be nice, too).
