Gerazzi Posted June 9, 2009 Share Posted June 9, 2009 ALRIGHT...So, I work out how to get .dds files and the like, but NOW, another problem arises. When I load the edited texture in NifSkope it only shows up on part of the weapon. It is in the Fallout 3 directory and in data. The file I named Smoker. It is a new unique Repeater I intend to make a quest (or at least a hint) for. Now before you say something along the lines of "try reloading the file" or "try saving THEN reloading the file", please note that I have already done this and if you post here with those comments, you will look really stupid.GECK will also not like the file and it will show up red.I have both the "world" file and the first person file, neither will load the texture the way I want them to. Please Help, thanks in advance, -Gerazzi EDIT: oh yes, if you are wondering why I'm posting in the general discussion instead of troubleshooting, it's because I intend to use this same thread for information on the mod and a download link. I am using the Lincolnrifle mesh, custom textures, and yes they are .dds.
